Abstract:
The essence of education lies in empowering students. Empowerment requires reforms in teaching and practical models as well as the cultivation of excellent teachers. Starting from the perspective of intelligent IoT technology, this presentation introduces the new era's "Basic Norms for IoT Engineering Discipline" and discusses how to construct a curriculum system for IoT disciplines oriented towards output, core course objectives, methods for evaluating the attainment of course objectives, and how to organize first-class course declarations related to IoT. The goal is to provide experience and reference for teaching and experiments of IoT-related courses for teachers.
Speaker Bio:
Guì Xiǎolín is a Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor at Xi'an Jiaotong University, a National Teaching Master, and the person in charge of National First-Class Majors and Courses. He serves as the director of the national teaching experimental demonstration center, director of the Shaanxi Provincial Key Laboratory of Computer Networks, secretary-general of the University Computer Course Teaching Guidance Committee of the Ministry of Education, member of the Teaching Informatization and Teaching Method Innovation Guidance Committee of the Ministry of Education, director of the IoT Committee of the Information Technology New Engineering Research and Industry-University Alliance, and a senior expert in China's engineering education accreditation.
