Report Abstract:With the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, computer vision and scene analysis performance have continuously improved and are widely applied in many practical scenarios. However, due to the black_box nature of deep learning, the reasoning process of artificial intelligence is unexplainable, causing uncertainty in current scene analysis technologies and results, thereby limiting the application of related technologies in life-critical fields. Therefore, trustworthy visual intelligence has become a key core issue that urgently needs to be addressed, especially in human-centered application scenarios. Since humans are the most active factor and the biggest variable in the physical world, human-centered trustworthy scene analysis has become the most attractive and challenging research topic, including several research requirements, such as analyzing content focused on people, designing models serving people, and application systems controlled by people. Therefore, this report will mainly introduce the domestic and international research progress and current status in this field, briefly report the preliminary research results obtained by our team in recent years, and finally discuss the future development trends of human-centered trustworthy visual intelligence.

Biography of the Presenter:Gaoxin Bo, professor, Ph.D., doctoral supervisor, currently serves as the president of Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, vice-chairman of Chongqing Science and Technology Association, member of the 14th CPPCC National Committee, recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, selected for the National Program for Support of Top-Notch Young Professionals, Ministry of Education Changjiang Scholars Distinguished Professor, IEEE Fellow, academician of China Electronics Society, Computer Society, Artificial Intelligence Society, leader of the Innovation Team in Key Areas under the Ministry of Science and Technology, head of the Ministry of Education Innovation Team, member of the Ministry of Education Science and Technology Committee, member of the Computer Science Teaching Steering Committee under the Ministry of Education, executive director of China Electronics Society, executive director of China Higher Education Society, president of Chongqing Youth Science and Technology Leadership Talent Association. In the field of image processing and computer vision, he proposed the theory and method of image cross-domain reconstruction and recognition based on the fusion of physical-information-cognitive ternary space and the subjective and objective unified image quality evaluation model based on the human visual system. Published 7 textbooks and monographs, authorized more than 100 invention patents, published more than 300 papers in mainstream journals and conferences. Won one national natural science second prize, received the second National Innovation Award, and six provincial and ministerial level science and technology first prizes.
