Title of the Report: Non-associative Fuzzy Logic and Novel Neural Networks
Presenter:Zhang Xiaohong
Affiliation:Shaanxi University of Science & Technology
Date of the Report: July 14, 2024 (Sunday), 11:15-12:00 AM
Location of the Report: Lecture Hall on the Second Floor, Block A, Feicui Science and Education Building
Abstract: This presentation begins by introducing concepts such as non-associative t-norms, overlap functions, and non-associative residuated lattices, along with our team's research achievements in non-associative fuzzy logic operators and fuzzy reasoning algorithms. Next, it analyzes the characteristics and limitations of the Θ-Ξ function, proposes a new concept of the OG-function, illustrating that it is a generalization of the Θ-Ξ function, general overlap functions, and general grouping functions, and provides the construction theorem for the OG-function. Finally, it introduces the (a, b)-OG-function and multidimensional (a, b)-OG-functions, presenting preliminary experimental results of novel neural networks constructed based on multidimensional OG-functions and their related applications, thereby demonstrating the significant role of non-classical logic in the development of third-generation artificial intelligence driven by both knowledge and data.
