The 2023 Hefei University of Technology-Huawei "Intelligent Base" scholarship and award ceremony was held on March 11th and 14th at the Hefei and Xuancheng campuses. The ceremony was attended by Dean Hong Richang, Vice Dean Xia Na, Deputy Secretary Zhang Hailin, five awarded teachers, and some awarded students.

The Hefei University of Technology-Huawei "Intelligent Base" industry-education integration and collaborative education project was launched in December 2020. It aims to promote talent cultivation and technological innovation in the field of information technology at universities. The project involves collaboration between the university and Huawei in areas such as Kunpeng, Ascend, and Huawei Cloud, focusing on industry-education integration and talent cultivation.

The selection process for the Hefei University of Technology-Huawei "Intelligent Base" scholarships for the current year began in October 2023. Students applied voluntarily, and the college's evaluation committee adhered to the principles of "openness, fairness, impartiality, and selecting the best" to select 31 scholarship recipients, including An Jianing, Li Qin, Ye Hao, Zhang Zhiyang, and 5 recipients of the teaching award: Bu Chenyang, Fang Baofu, Wu Le, Zhuang Shuo, and Li Jianhua.

We hope that the award-winning students will continue to work hard, improve their professional competence, and enhance their ability to solve complex engineering problems. We hope they will contribute to the prosperity and development of the domestic computing ecosystem. Additionally, we encourage award-winning teachers to continue to deepen the integration of industry and education, closely follow the forefront of industrial technology, promote the reform of course content in theoretical and practical teaching, and create high-quality and exemplary courses. Our focus is on cultivating talents that meet the needs of emerging industries.
