Our Ph.D. student, Zhou Zhiyuan, from the 2023 cohort of the Computer Science and Technology program, was recommended by Professor Hong Richang, his advisor, and successfully selected to participate in the 2024 Asian Youth Leaders Travel and Learning Camp (AYLTLC) at the National University of Singapore. This program aims to cultivate leadership, teamwork, and cross-cultural communication skills among young leaders from various Asian countries through workshops, lectures, and team-building activities.

Zhou Zhiyuan participated in various interactive learning activitiesduring the week-long event, including exhibitions, course studies, group discussions, and presentations. Through studying multiple aspects such as the development of local cities, cultural history evolution, and the impact of technology on ecology, he not only delved into the dynamics of cutting-edge technologies in urban development within the field of computer science but also engaged in in-depth exchanges with outstanding young students from different Asian countries to explore leadership concepts and practices in various cultural backgrounds. Due to his incredible creativity and teamwork, he was awarded the Most Creative Award.

AYLTLC, short for Asian Youth Leaders Travel and Learning Camp, is a learning and exchange event for young leaders in the Asian region. This project brings together outstanding students and young leaders from various Asian countries, aiming to enhance their abilities in cross-cultural communication and cooperation through diverse activities and cultural collisions, thereby helping them grow into more influential leaders. The successful selection of our college students ndemonstrates our college's outstanding achievements in international talent cultivation and signifies our solid progress in this field.
