On the morning of April 30, Hefei University of Technology held its 2024 Anhui Provincial Robot Competition—Digital Media Innovation Design Track School Selection Review Meeting online. The meeting was chaired by Teacher Li Lin from the School of Computer and Information Science, with invited judges including Teacher Chen Juan from Anhui College of Arts, Teacher Li Yan from Tongling College, and Director Wang Wei from the Video Production Department of Hefei TV Station. This competition featured Category A (Digital Media Development Application Works, Digital Media Design Application Works) and Category B (Skills Competition). Students from six departments, including the School of Computer and Information Science, School of Architecture and Art, School of Automotive and Transportation Engineering, School of Software, School of Economics, and School of Civil and Hydraulic Engineering, registered to participate, submitting 24 applications. Among these, 2 teams in Category B and 22 entries in Category A participated in the online review. In the end, Wu Baiqi and five other students (2 teams) won first prize, Yan Fenglin and eleven other students (4 teams) won second prize, and Qi Chang, along with fifteen other students (6 teams), won third prize.
This competition is organized under the leadership of the Anhui Provincial Computer Teaching Committee, with this year's theme focusing on the heritage and promotion of intangible cultural heritage within Anhui province. It requires the application of AIGC technology in various media content processing, creation, program design, and system development, led by culture plus technology, integrating ideological and political education into media technology expansion, and strengthening the training process for talents in the digital media industry.
This school selection competition is a procedural requirement for the Anhui Provincial Robot Competition—Digital Media Innovation Design Track. The judging panel has also selected the top 10 Category A teams and 2 Category B teams according to the competition's quota system to participate in the provincial competition, hoping they will bring honor to the university and achieve excellent results in the provincial competition.
