Recently, the 20th Hefei University of Technology Programming Contest, co-hosted by the School's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Center, School of Computer and Information Science (School of Artificial Intelligence), School of Software, and the CCF Student Chapter of the Hefei University of Technology, was successfully held in the computer room located at Building C on the Feicui Lake Campus. This competition was open to undergraduate students from all departments, with over 90 participants registering from six schools and ten majors.

The contest was conducted as a live event featuring six problems. Submissions of solutions were scored through an automatic judging system, where only submissions passing all test cases for each problem were considered valid; otherwise, penalties were applied. The correctness of submissions was promptly communicated back to the competitors via the judging system's online feedback. After three hours of intense competition, 70 students submitted code that met the problems' requirements. From these submissions, seven first prizes, fourteen second prizes, and twenty-one third prizes were awarded. For detailed lists of winners, please see Attachment 1. The winning students will be able to represent the university in the 2024 Anhui Provincial Collegiate Programming Contest (Anhui Provincial Robot Competition - Programming Track) and the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ACM-ICPC).

After the event's successful conclusion, the college will arrange training courses and team-building training for the selected students to participate in subsequent higher-level competition activities. The successful hosting of this competition not only infused new vitality into the campus's technological innovation activities but also provided a practical stage for the majority of students to showcase and hone their programming skills.
