Our faculty member, Dr. Li Meng, has been honored with the Ucom 2024 Young Scientist Award

From July 5th to 7th, 2024, the second International Conference on Ubiquitous Communication (Ucom'24) was held in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. The conference, initiated and organized by the School of Telecommunication Engineering of Xidian University, aimed to establish a broad communication platform inviting experts and scholars from the global communications field to propose innovative insights, methodologies, architectures, theories, modeling methods, and industrial development visions for ubiquitous communication systems.

This conference awarded the "Young Scientist Award," the "Outstanding Graduate Student Award," and the "Best Paper Award" to recognize outstanding young researchers in the field of computer science, outstanding graduate students, and contributors to Ucom 2024, respectively. During the conference, associate Researcher Li Meng from our institute presented his research work at the Young Scientist Forum. After preliminary and final reviews by the Ucom 2024 Awards Committee, Teacher Li Meng was honored with the "Young Scientist Award" (awarded to only four individuals).

Teacher Li Meng has long been engaged in research on network security, publishing over 80 academic papers and leading three National Natural Science Foundation projects and topics. He holds senior memberships in the China Electronics Society, the China Institute of Communications, and the China Computer Federation and is an IEEE Senior Member. Additionally, he serves as an editorial board member for several journals, including IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security (TIFS), IEEE Internet of Things Journal, and IEEE Transactions on Network and Service Management (TNSM).
