Location of the Report: Fifth Conference Room on the First Floor, Block A, Feicui Science and Education Building
Abstract: In recent years, with the development and popularization of imaging equipment, dynamic brain network analysis based on fMRI has become a research hotspot. However, due to the complexity of the human brain and brain networks, there are still many problems and challenges in this research. This report will discuss some of our research work in dynamic brain network analysis, including the construction of dynamic brain networks, feature learning, and classification of brain networks. Finally, the promotion of existing work will be discussed, and future research prospects will be given.
Biography of the Presenter:Jie Biao, male, Ph.D., professor, doctoral supervisor, Associate Dean of the School of Computer and Information, Anhui Normal University. He received his Ph.D. in April 2015 and his Master's degree in June 2006. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the Biomedical Imaging Research Center of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) for one year each in 2017 and 2012. His main research interests include artificial intelligence, machine learning, and medical image analysis. As the head of the project, he has presided over two National Natural Science Foundation of China general projects and several provincial and ministerial projects. In the past five years, he has published or accepted more than 50 SCI/EI papers in international journals, conferences, and domestic core journals. Some papers were published as the first author in important international journals such as "IEEE Trans. Image Processing", "Human Brain Mapping", "IEEE Trans. Biomedical Engineering", "Medical Image Analysis", etc., and have also published papers multiple times at top international conferences (such as MICCAI). He serves as an executive director of the Anhui Province Artificial Intelligence Society, a member of the Cognitive Committee of the Artificial Intelligence Society, and a member of the Big Data Committee of the Chinese Cartographic Society. He has obtained four authorized invention patents and three provincial teaching achievement awards (including one special prize).
