Abstract: Multimodal data mining technology involves processing and analyzing different types of data, such as text, images, and graph structure data. Especially with the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, many advanced multimodal data mining technologies have emerged and been widely applied in recommendation systems, knowledge graphs, computer vision, etc. In recent years, the application of multimodal data mining technology in the medical field has gradually increased, promoting the improvement of medical data mining performance and also driving the development of intelligent healthcare. This report mainly introduces the work of our team in the field of multimodal data mining technology, including graph representation learning, image segmentation, and text knowledge extraction. Next, it introduces the specific applications of three modal data mining technologies in the medical field, including the discovery of medical entity association relationships, classification of cardiovascular/dermatological diseases, and named entity recognition in electronic medical records. By studying multimodal data mining technology and exploring its specialized applications in the medical field, it is expected to provide practical, theoretical basis and technical solutions for disease understanding, personalized medicine, new drug research and development, optimization of medical resources, etc.

   Biography of the Presenter:Yang Fei, Associate Dean of the School of Biomedical Engineering, Anhui Medical University, Professor, Master's Supervisor, Head of the Laboratory for Medical Big Data Analysis and Transformation. Executive director of the Anhui Province Artificial Intelligence Society, director of the Anhui Province Computer Society, and director of the Anhui Province Higher Education Computer Education Research Association. Mainly engaged in research work on multimodal data mining technology and medical intelligent-assisted diagnosis. In recent years, more than 60 academic papers have been published in international journals such as TPS, TCSS, INS, ESWA, etc. More than 30 patents/software copyrights have been applied for multiple textbooks have been published, won the second prize of Anhui Province Teaching Achievement, presided over the completion of several horizontal projects in Anhui Province surface/key points, participated as a backbone member in completing one national science and technology special project, and participated in multiple National Natural Science Foundation general projects.
