On the afternoon of August 16, 2023, at 14:30, Associate Professor Shi Yi from Virginia Tech, USA, gave an academic lecture titled "Jamming Attacks on Decentralized Federated Learning in Multi-Hop Wireless Networks" in Room 1602, Building A, Jade Science and Education Building. Teachers and students from relevant research directions of our college attended the lecture.
During the lecture, Associate Professor Shi Yi shared the latest research results of his team. He first introduced distributed spectrum sensing and decentralized federated learning, demonstrating the impact of different network structures on the effectiveness of decentralized federated learning. Based on this, he focused on introducing jamming attacks on decentralized federated learning in distributed spectrum sensing, including possible jamming attack methods and attack effects. After the lecture, Associate Professor Shi Yi discussed the details of the research results on decentralized federated learning with the teachers and students present, and answered their questions.
This lecture deepened the understanding of researchers in our college who are engaged in related research in this field and provided important insights.
