The Chinese Institute of Electronics, in collaboration with Xi'an Jiaotong University, will hold the "2024 Cyberspace Security Academic Conference" in Xi'an from July 12-14, 2024. The conference theme is "New Trends·New Models·New Formats in Cyberspace Security." It aims to explore new theories, release new achievements, and exchange new experiences from dimensions such as national policy orientation, industry standards, cutting-edge technology, application prospects, and integration of production, education, and research. The conference seeks to build consensus among the academic, scientific, and industrial communities, focusing on the new trends in cyberspace security technology development under new circumstances, exploring new models for developing the cyberspace security industry, and creating a new format for the cyberspace security guarantee system. This will contribute to forming a cyberspace security guarantee scheme with Chinese characteristics through collective wisdom. The conference includes two main forums and twelve thematic forums.
To accelerate the development of cyberspace security disciplines, technological innovation, and industrial applications and to fully showcase China's academic and industrial innovation achievements in cyberspace security, the Chinese Institute of Electronics launched the 2024 Cyberspace Security Excellent Case Collection activity. This collection mainly targets universities, enterprises, public institutions, and members of the institute, collecting new products, new technologies, and new solutions in cyberspace security from 2022 to 2024. The Cyberspace Security Expert Committee of the Chinese Institute of Electronics primarily conducted the evaluation of submissions.
On July 13, 2024, during the "2024 Cyberspace Security Academic Conference," the excellent cases in the field of cyberspace security were officially announced. The work "Anonymous Security and Traceable Distributed Vehicular Network Digital Forensics System" by Associate Researcher Li Meng's research group from our institute was selected as an outstanding case (new technology) in cyberspace security for 2024 by the Chinese Institute of Electronics! Additionally, the scientific research achievement "Blockchain Consensus Optimization Technology Set," co-authored by Teacher Li Meng and the School of Cyberspace Security at Beijing Institute of Technology, also made the list!
This award highlights our institute's active promotion of technological innovation, academic exchange, and industry integration in cyberspace security, striving to inject new vitality into the industry's development. In the future, the institute will continue to respond to the national call, maintain a long-term perspective, consciously discover and cultivate more high-level compound talents with strategic scientist potential in cyberspace security, form a growth ladder for strategic scientists, and improve the quality of graduate training.
