On July 13, 2024, the Intelligent Reasoning Committee of the Anhui Artificial Intelligence Society hosted the first Intelligent Reasoning Academic Symposium at Hefei University of Technology. The conference aimed to promote research and exchange in the field of intelligent reasoning technology and attracted active participation from experts, scholars, and students from universities and research institutions across the country.

Intelligent reasoning is a key area of third-generation artificial intelligence and a hot topic of current research. The conference was chaired by Professor Tang Yiming, the director of the Intelligent Reasoning Committee. Professor Chen Yixiang from East China Normal University (director of the AI Logic Committee of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence), Professor Liu Xinwang from National University of Defense Technology (National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars), Professor Su Yansen from Anhui University (National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars), and Professor Jie Biao from Anhui Normal University (dean) delivered academic reports, sharing their work in large language model logical reasoning, multi-view clustering theory, small molecule drug design, and fMRI dynamic brain networks, respectively.

The experts' insightful presentations sparked great interest among the attendees, leading to lively discussions on-site. This symposium not only provided a high-level platform for academic exchange for researchers and practitioners in the field of intelligent reasoning but also made significant contributions to interdisciplinary collaboration and the sharing of research outcomes.
